We outline what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, so every step of the process remains fair, transparent, and built on trust and open communication.

This notice outlines the Terms of Service and Broker Value & Disclosure practices for Franchise Wizards, LLC and its franchise consultants.

There is significant value in working with a franchise consultant when exploring franchise and business opportunities.

There are only so many hours in a day. A franchise consultant listens, qualifies, understands you, and focuses on aligning your goals with franchise opportunities—a win-win for all!

1. Terms of Services

  • No-Cost: It is important to note that the franchise consultants at Franchise Wizards, LLC invest their time to perform a detailed franchise search and educate prospective investors about their options completely free of charge.

  • Non-Circumvention: To ensure fairness and transparency, once Franchise Wizards, LLC has presented a franchise selection for the candidate’s consideration and disclosed the brand names, the candidate agrees not to contact any of those franchisors directly until Franchise Wizards has first informed the franchisor of the candidate’s interest in learning more and participating in the franchise discovery process.

2. The Value of the Franchise Consultant (Broker) to Candidates

  • Which is better: one concept or a few hundred? Franchise consultants have work relationships with several hundred franchise brands and/or business opportunities.

  • They are not focused on one brand or one industry—they are focused on you and your goals. They provide an unbiased perspective.

  • Relationships matter. The franchise consultant will develop a relationship with you to understand you. They will show you franchise companies or industries you may or may not have considered, or concepts they believe may be of interest to you.

  • The result can lead to selecting a franchise that meets your goals and needs. Now that is measurable!

  • The candidate does not pay anything additional to work with a franchise consultant. The franchise company pays the consultant if it results in an executed franchise agreement.

  • For investors, the investment amount required to start the franchise business is the same as if they worked directly with the franchise company.

  • The franchise consultant also has access to professional resources who are experts in the franchise industry, which you may use if you desire.

3. The Value of the Franchise Consultant (Broker) to the Franchise Company (Franchisor and/or Turnkey Business Provider)

  • The franchise consultant qualifies the candidate to ensure they meet the qualifications required by the franchisor and/or business opportunity.

  • Qualifying the candidate includes verifying territory availability, ensuring they are financially qualified—which may include pre-qualification with a funding provider—and understanding their background and goals.

  • The franchise consultant helps educate the candidate about franchising and encourages them to perform extensive research during their discovery process.

4. The Candidate’s Responsibility in the Franchise Ownership Discovery Process

  • The choice is yours and yours alone. The franchise consultant’s role is to help guide you through a methodical process for your due diligence, but the investigation and ultimate decision to invest in a franchise brand are yours alone.

  • Once you enter into a franchise agreement, the relationship is governed by the contract between you and the franchise company.

  • We strongly suggest you consult legal and financial advisors before entering into a franchise agreement. The franchise consultant may provide professional resources that you can choose to use if you so desire.

5. Disclosure Provided to the Prospective Franchise Buyer

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC is not an agent, employee, representative, or other functionary of the seller of the respective business opportunities and franchises introduced to you.

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC is an independent contractor engaged in the activity of introducing prospective business buyers to sellers of franchises and business opportunities.

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC is paid a finder’s fee or commission by the seller if you elect to purchase a business from a company introduced by Franchise Wizards, LLC.

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC has not verified the accuracy of the information provided by the seller and assumes no responsibility for the acts, errors, or omissions of the seller, or the outcome of any transactions.

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC is not qualified to advise on any part of the purchase of a business opportunity. You are urged to seek professional advice from a lawyer, accountant, or other qualified resource.

  • Buying a business opportunity is a complex investment. Take your time to decide and personally visit the headquarters of the company you elect to buy from. Make informed, common-sense decisions in all investment matters.

  • The Federal Trade Commission regulates the sale of franchises and business opportunities. Contact the nearest office for information to ensure that any company you deal with is in full compliance with the law.

  • Your state may also have laws regarding franchises and business opportunities. Ask your state agencies about them.

  • The Better Business Bureau is an excellent information source for potential business buyers. Contact your local bureau as well as the bureau in the seller’s city of origin. You alone are responsible for researching the seller.

  • The prospective business buyer acknowledges receipt of this disclosure information and clearly understands that Franchise Wizards, LLC has no standing or involvement in the prospective buyer’s transactions with any business opportunity seller.

  • The prospective business buyer further agrees to save and hold harmless Franchise Wizards, LLC in any event regarding the buyer’s ultimate business transaction and outcome with any seller introduced by Franchise Wizards, LLC.

  • Franchise Wizards, LLC has made no verbal representations that contradict any portion of this disclosure.
